Great Location: Camp Kerusso is located on 55 acres of land right on Lake Lanier. The property is just 3 miles off GA-400 on Pilgrim Mill Road (Exit 16).

Our Mission is to create an experience that you can’t get in the cul-de-sac.  Camp Kerusso adventures involve a broad range of activities, including archery, laser tag, gaga ball, fishing, mini golf, blob, stand up paddle boarding, kayaking...and more!  It is our goal to create a safe environment where adventure, sports, and recreation facilitate lifelong friendships and an opportunity for kids to discover what it means to have a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Summer Staff: All counselors are High School aged or older, have multiple references checked, attended one-on-one interviews, and many hours of intense training! Our staff love your campers and will give your child an incredible camp experience!

Registration: Register online beginning Super Bowl Sunday. An instant confirmation will be sent to you by email following completion of your registration. Online payment can be made using Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or a checking account. 

Tuition Includes: Five full days of adventure and activities, one T-shirt per camper for each 2 weeks of camp up to a maximum of 2 T-shirts for the summer, lunch on Friday, electronic access to group photos each week and a camp highlights video.

Clothing/Gear: Campers should come ready to play hard, have fun, and get dirty! We require closed-toe shoes (no Chacos or heelys, please), a modest swimming suit, and appropriate t-shirts. Each day campers will need to bring sunscreen, a refillable water bottle, and lunch (except Friday). Make sure that your campers name is on everything he/she brings to camp.

Lunch: Campers bring their lunch packed in an insulated lunch box with an ice pack Monday - Thursday. Friday is pizza day! Tuition includes 2 slices of pizza and a drink. Campers should have a refillable water bottle every day. 

Flex-Payment Plan: At initial registration we only require a deposit per camper for each week of camp. After you are registered you can use the "Account Login" link on the main page to continue to make payments for your registered weeks. The final balance for each week of camp is due by 2 weeks before the start of your week.

Financial Assistance: A limited number of scholarship assistance is available for families who cannot afford camp on their own. To apply for assistance please just email us and give a reason for your request in 300 words or less. 

Gift of Camp: We would love to provide the opportunity for some children to experience camp who otherwise would not have the opportunity. If you feel led to give, please indicate the amount when registering. Any amount is appreciated. Click here if you are interested.

Special Needs: Although we desire to accommodate all children, we, unfortunately are not able to accommodate children who are unable to function within our camp structure. Please call Ralph Johnston at 770-530-2714 with any questions.
 
CANCELLATION POLICY
:   Requests for cancellation must be made in writing (via letter or email only) 30 days prior to your camper's scheduled camp date. We will cancel registrations at no charge until 30 days prior to your camp start date. After the 30 day deadline, a $25 cancellation fee per camper per week applies. We will waive the cancellation fee if you transfer your camper's registration to another available week. We will not be able to issue refunds within one week of the scheduled camp date except in cases of camper illness, injury, or a death in the immediate family.

Kerusso X-TREME 

Middle School Only

Activities: At Kerusso X-TREME, our middle school campers will experience an amped up version of Camp Kerusso.  We will have many of the same activities such as dodgeball, laser tag, fishing, blob, stand up paddle boards, gaga ball, etc...but we will also have a few new activities such as boat tubing and a few new games.  During the day, the format will look very similar to the regular elementary day camp the kids are used to.  They will rotate through activities with a counselor in the morning and then some free time in the afternoon.  Every evening we will have a worship time followed by a large group activity, a bonfire with s'mores and then lights out. 

Hours: 
Camp runs from 8:15 AM on MONDAY, July 1st  through 4:15 PM on WEDNESDAY, July 3rd.  Monday drop off runs from 8:15-8:45am.  Wednesday pick up runs from 4:15-4:45pm.  On Monday morning you have the option to drive through and drop your camper off through our carpool line OR you may park and help you camper settle in.  We ask that you say your goodbyes by 9:00 am on Monday.  Wednesday, we will have a normal carpool pickup line. 

PLEASE EXERCISE EXTREME CAUTION when driving through the neighborhood on your way to and from Camp Kerusso. Out of consideration for our camp's neighbors, we kindly request everyone to drive slowly and more cautiously through the neighborhood as you approach and leave camp. There are many kids that play in the neighborhood and we value their safety, too! Thank you so much for your cooperation

Accommodations: 
We will be tent camping.  Tents will be provided for the groups, but the campers will need to bring their own sleeping bags and personal items.  The girls will be up under the additional shelter of our covered pavilions at the top of camp, and the boys will be down on the other end of camp.  We will have 24/7 staff surveillance including a night watch rotation to supervise the overnight aspect of the camp. 

RAIN or SHINE:  Camp happens, rain or shine.  In the event of storms the counselors exercise caution and get the campers to safety. We are tent camping, so we know there may be some concerns about weather in this particular case. ALL female groups will be in tents under a covered pavilion, so they will already be in a safe area. All male groups are in tents as well, but not under the additional shelter of covered pavilions, so in case of thunderstorm they will be moved to our large pavilion.

This list is NOT comprehensive, it includes all required items, but it is up to you to make sure your camper is prepared. Please also check Clothing/Gear section above.

Closed toe shoes for activities, sandals or water shoes for the lake.
Any Medications for each camper must be checked in with staff

Our Staff: 
The staff for this event will consist of our oldest counselors (college students & seniors in high school).  They will work with the group throughout the day and will stay overnight with their group.  We will place campers in groups of 4-6 kids depending on the final numbers.  All of our leadership team will be present 24/7 as well as head counselors.  We will have day staff (high school counselors) to give our overnight staff a break and facilitate activities as well, but they will be sent home at the end of the day. 

Meals: 
We ask that your camper pack a cooler with lunch for MONDAY MORNING ONLY.  ALL OTHER MEALS WILL BE PROVIDED THROUGH LUNCH ON WEDNESDAY.  Your camper should bring snacks to have throughout the day, which will be kept in their group's sealed food bin.  There will NOT be any refrigerator space available for your camper to keep snacks/drinks cool.  We will also have a canteen available during each lunch time.  While we are not a nut free facility, we will provide a nut free meal option for children with nut allergies.

Early Pick Up: 
If you will need to pick up your child from camp early please discuss with a camp administrator when dropping your child off Monday morning.
